MOUNT PINATUBO DAY TOUR THAT STARTS IN CAPAS REGISTRATION AREA ITINERARY

5:00 AM – MEET UP @ MC DONALD’S, 7-ELEVEN, CALTEX GAS STATION (CAPAS JUNCTION) 
Tour Coordinator will wait and meet your group at this area. 
If your group have private car, tour coordinator will served as your navigator from this area to 4x4 registration area. 
Registration area is 22kms or 30 minutes away from Mc Donalds area. 
If your group will be using public transport from any point, tour coordinator will assist your group to rent a trike or private jeep. 
Public Jeep is no longer allowed to enter the area because it is a Military Reservation Camp (Philippine Airforce Camp)
Tricycle rental costs 300 per trike (one way) and can load up to maximum 3 passengers.
If your group headcount is above 6, it is best to rent a private jeep for your comfortably.
Mobile network signal is no longer available at the registration area specially Globe network.
Please arrive earlier if your group plans to take breakfast before heading to registration area.

5:45 AM – ETA 4x4 REGISTRATION AREA
Proceed to designated parking area; you will park your car here. 
Team Leader of your group will settle the remaining balance prior to final departure. 
Tour Coordinator will conduct safety briefing and will endorse your group to assigned 4x4 jeep drivers and tour guides. 
Each participants will sign a waiver form @ Capas Tourism Office prior to 4x4 boarding.
40 years old and up will undergo mandatory Blood Pressure test at Capas Tourism Office.
60 years old & up is required to bring Medical Certificate certifying them that they are physically fit to do this activity. 
Final use of toilet before boarding in a 4x4 jeep especially for the girls.

6:30 AM – BOARDING TO 4X4 JEEP 
Check your things before riding in a 4x4 jeep and ensure that you don’t leave your things unattended. It is not advisable to bring heavy baggage. Just bring only necessary things that you will need in this activity like water, snacks,packed lunch, dust and sun protection,camera, etc. 
Final checkpoint. Inspection of climbing permits and 4x4 jeep driver's license and 2-way radio.

6:45 AM – OFF-ROAD RIDE
Take off to Pinatubo / 4x4 jeep adventure. 
Roughly 1.5 hours travel via 4x4 jeep on a very bumpy and dusty terrain.
Make sure to bring sun & dust protection with you. You will experience a very bumpy and dusty ride especially in the afternoon.
Be attentive on your gadgets or belongings, there are some incident that phone, camera, wallet or car keys was accidentally dropped at the trail because of a very bumpy ride. 
There is no assurance that you can recover it once you lost it along the trail.

8:00 AM ETA 4X4 JEEP PARKING AREA
3- 5kms Trek starts here (This is already part of Botolan, Zambales)
During summer season, trekking starts @ 3 or 5 kms trail or roughly an hour hike to crater, but when rainy months started the trail of trekking will start @ the original drop off area which is 7 kms trail or 2-3 hours hike to crater.

8:30 AM – REST AREA / TOILET FACILITY
Last nipa hut or rest station that you will passed by. 10 - 15 minutes rest
Toilets & spring water are available @ this area. 
1km more or 20- 30 mins. to reach the crater. 
This will be the final leg of the trail.

9:20 AM ETA MOUNT PINATUBO CRATER
Explore the area, take photos, rest or take a nap.
Early Lunch - Please bring snacks or packed lunch.
SWIMMING  & BOATING ACTIVITY @ THE CRATER LAKE IS NO LONGER ALLOWED @ THE CRATER LAKE. FOR SAFETY PRECAUTION.

12:00 PM – PACK UP TIME (earlier if there is a threat of heavy rain). 
You can decide what time you will go back. 

1:00 PM – ETA 4X4 PARKING AREA
Roughly more than an hour travel going back to registration area.

2:30 PM – ETA REGISTRATION AREA
Shower / Wash up.
END OF THE TRIP

THIS MAY BE LONGER OR SHORTER DEPENDING ON AVAILABLE TRAIL OF 4X4 JEEP AND TRAIL FOR TREKKING, WALKING SPEED, DRIVING SPEED AND TIME OF ARRIVAL @ REGISTRATION AREA IN THE MORNING. DEPEND AS WELL IF THERE IS A MILITARY ACTIVITY/BALIKATAN EXERCISE AT THE LAHAR AREA
